DOMENICO COTRONEO November 19, 1928 - June 21, 2011 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Domenico Cotroneo on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre. Domenico is survived by his wife Maria; his children: Toni (Douglas), Frank (Pat), Mimmo (Lisa); grandchildren: Christine, Andrew, Jared, Justin, Frank and Anthony; sister Antonia, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. Domenico was born in Reggio Calabria, Italy. He immigrated to Canada in 1966 along with Maria and their children to start a new life and be with family and friends. After a brief period in construction, he took his passion for cooking as a sous chef and worked at the Westin Hotel until his retirement. Upon his retirement he spent his time in the garden doing what he loved the most. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Visitation will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 24 in Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E. J.
